Anglo American Coal Bursary South Africa 2021/2022 is open in various categories therefore qualify applicants can apply now before the closing date.
Anglo Thermal Coal bursary is a full coverage bursary and will be awarded within the following Mining related fields of study:
- Electrical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mining Engineering
- Mining Engineering (specializing in Rock Engineering)
- Metallurgical Engineering
- Mineral Surveying
- Geology
- Environmental Science
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted and invited to attend 2 interviews – if you have not received any feedback within by 30 September 2019 at the latest, please regard your application as unsuccessful.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):
- South African citizen
- Completed Matric OR currently in Matric
- Studying or intend on studying within one of the aforementioned fields of study (1st/ 2nd/ 3rd year)
- Studying or intend on studying at a recognised University or University of Technology in South Africa
- Engineering/ Geology/ Science degrees students: must have achieved a minimum B symbol for Mathematics and Science in Matric
- Accounting students: must have achieved a minimum C symbol for Mathematics in Matric
- In financial need and requiring practical experience
- *Preference will be given to students from Mpumalanga province

- Grade 11 final results, if currently in Matric (certified copy)
- Matric certificate, if completed Matric (certified copy)
- Full academic record to date, current tertiary students (certified copy)
- Proof of admission into a tertiary institution
- Details of academic or other activity in which you have excelled (at school/ university)
