How to Apply for Beyonce Scholarship

Here are some brief descriptions of the top Beyonce Scholarship.

What is the Beyonce Homecoming Scholars Award program?

Beyonce Homecoming Scholars Program, formerly the Formation Scholars Award program is part of the BeyGOOD Initiative which she awards to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
One student from each of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) selected will receive the scholarship to further their education. Historically black colleges and universities are institutions of higher education in the United States that were established before the Civil Rights Act of 1964 with the intention of primarily serving the African-American community
Previously, four scholarships were awarded, one per college, to female incoming, current or graduate students pursuing studies in creative arts, music, literature or African-American studies.
After making history as the first black woman to headline Coachella, Beyoncé expanded the scholarship program she launched with new donations to four traditionally black universities.
Currently, this Beyonce Scholarship expanded to eight schools in its second year with the help of a Google.org partnership.
According to Maab Ibrahim, a Google.org program manager;

Google understands the vital role historically black colleges and universities play in delivering high quality and culturally responsive education.

In the last several years, Google has launched innovative programs to close the distance between Silicon Valley and HBCUs; we are proud to continue that commitment by matching Beyoncé’s generous donation.

What Is the BeyGOOD Initiative?

BeyGOOD is an extension of Beyoncé’s charity initiative. It was originally created during the Mrs. Carter World Tour back in 2013 to help victims of Hurricane Valley. In the course of the tour, BeyGOOD worked with local charities in the cities in which Beyoncé performed to help fundraise and raise awareness for local causes.
Since then, the BeyGood Initiative has expanded. Currently, the foundation offers scholarships, DoGood campaigns, and other charitable activities in partnership with some corporate bodies.
BeyGOOD is built on the belief that we are all in this together and each and every one of us can make a difference by giving back.
Through impactful dynamic partnerships, BeyGOOD’s mission is to set an example of giving back and paying it forward while empowering others to do the same with what they have in their own communities.
The BeyGOOD Initiative has partnered with Google, UNICEF and a host of others.
