Holland Scholarship

The Holland Scholarship favors students outside the European Economic Area (EEA). The funding is for students who want to gain undergraduate or postgraduate degrees. 

Funded by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science, candidates are to apply for any Dutch research university. Certainly, it also works well with students going to universities of applied sciences in Holland.

Benefits

• The scholarship is worth a whopping 5,000 euros. However, this is not a full-tuition scholarship. Moreover, a candidate receives the grant only once a year. 

Eligibility 

• Firstly, an applicant must be non-EEA and apply for a full-time bachelor’s or masters. The institution the candidate chooses must be participating in the scholarship.
• Secondly, the applicant must meet the institution’s requirements of your choice. You can find this information on the school’s site.
• Lastly, an applicant must be studying in the Netherlands for the first time. That is, the applicant must have never studied there before.

Application Process 

Here, you will have to go through the participating institution you choose to apply to. Therefore, visit the university’s site to check out the date of the deadline and requirements from the school. Once you’ve cleared this out, fill out an application form. 

Swedish Institute Scholarship

This scholarship tries to groom future global leaders through academic funding. Interestingly, they prepare these leaders for the 2030 UN Agenda for Sustainable Development. Again, they are also to engineer a massively positive input in their home countries. 

The body offers the scholarship to a large number of applicants. Its target is international students for master’s programs in Swedish Universities. 

Benefits

• SI scholarships cover total tuition fees with living expenses. The funding is worth up to 10,000 SEK per month. Moreover, it covers insurance and travel expenses for those outside Sweden.

Eligibility 

• Applicants must be a citizen of the countries eligible for the funding
• The candidate must have about 3,000 hours of work experience from not more than three organizations 
• You must have shown leadership qualities from previous work experience 
• It is compulsory to pay the tuition fees at Sweden Universities. Also, the candidate must be putting in for a master’s program

After applying for a student’s master’s program, you’ll get an eight-digit code for your application number. Ensure you save this code for your further application. 

The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship

This funding concept originates from the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. It made it possible for institutions in Europe to attract top students for masters and Ph.D. programs. 

It grooms future foreign pioneers in the private and public sectors. Additionally, it gives more priority to certain areas of study. 

Benefits 

• The program covers a wide range of expenses, including train travel within France, insurance, activities, and air travel. 
• It includes a monthly allowance of 1,181 euros for about 12 to 36 months. For Ph.D. students, funding can increase to 1,700 euros with 12 months maximum.

Eligibility 

There are some criteria that an applicant must pass. The requirements are in different groups:

• It is for only purely non-French persons 
• The age limit is 25 years for a master’s and 30 years for a PhD 
• Students must not hold any other French scholarships or equivalent
• The applicant must meet the language requirement of the course in question

Application Process

As a student, you can’t apply directly. French Higher Education institutions submit all names for the EIFFEL Scholarships. Therefore, to stand a chance, you must meet all requirements of the Higher Institution.

British Chevening Scholarship

Chevening funding programs are the best scholarship on the list. It is the UK government’s global scheme to award excellent and distinguished scholars. It also seeks out students with leadership potentials worldwide. 

Funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), it gears towards international students who want to study for a master’s degree. Moreover, It also goes well with any subject in any UK university. Interestingly, over 1,000 students get this scholarship offer every year. 

Benefits

• The scholarship covers the tuition fees at the university 
• It offers a monthly allowance
• It offers other grants and allowances for study expenses like airfare and living costs. 

Eligibility 

• Only citizens from a country the Chevening body recognizes are eligible 
• Applicants must agree to return to their homeland after the scholarship funding ends. Furthermore, they are to stay there for a minimum of two years
• All scholars must have finished their undergraduate courses in distinction. Moreover, a second class 2:1 honors degree is very convenient though it depends on the course 
• Applicants must have applied to three well-recognized UK universities. Also, they must have received an unconditional offer from one of them 
• The scholarship required applicants must have at least two years of work experience
